Are you expecting any new WFR's? Thought most of them are over last week for now.

I felt it few months before it happened. I am lucky that I received a proposal at another company on a friday and the monday after the weekend I was laid off.

I am so glad I am many steps ;) and now receiving severance packet and i have new job! I am last one laughing!!!!

Typically it's the first thing in the morning. Your manager will either put something with absolutely no context on your calendar super early in the morning or will ping you, "You busy?" Then you get on the call and your manager starts with trying to build rapport before lecturing you on "cost savings" and "reorganization strategies".

You'll know if the axe will fall on you. It's an annoying gut feeling that is correct. I was able to predict my layoffs both times.

The biggest red flag is when your manager tells you that you should consider moving to a different team or asks what your goals are with the company. It's not that you're doing a poor job, it's actually your manager subtly trying to save you.

Get your resume ready.

I think it’s random. For my team, they were the day before but mine was just my regular 1/1

This site is being attacked by corporate dogs or the site is owned by them. Popular posts against the new policy have been attacked. They can zero out the likes here but that is only hiding the problem. Contact media outlets, take it to twitter, unionize, select remote, quiet quit. Whatever you do, just refuse becoming a sheep and telling them this is acceptable.
