Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

no green shoots after 3 years

It’s been 3 years since Pat took over. It’s been all downhill since then. every execution metric has either worsened or stayed the same. Only Pat's bluster has increased. when will the board fire this megalomaniac CEO who is full of himself?

Present Random Data as ‘science’ and claim to win in transition ‘mega trends’ without insight into the constraints incentives and true intentions of the influentials - of which there are actually very few , yes , that sounds like Intel megalomania. Realistic options for the worker bee either short sell or hope nvidia buys Intel w pocket change

No, he misjudged the pandemic demand as something real instead of a transitory blip that pulled demand forward.

Remember that sales m0ron that claimed everyone would need two or three laptops just like his daughter? These are the kinds of people running Intel.

He has the right plan, Pat just grossly underestimated the economic downturn. No one is going to take IFS seriously until it is divested from the chip design part of the business. The problem is, IFS does not have enough revenue to spin out yet.
