Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

How can some people still defend Nike?

The only thing Nike shares with the great company it was in the past is its name. That's it. How some people fail to see it is beyond me.

I was blissfully ignorant and then I saw how much less I was paid then some of my male cohorts. 😣 so, I quit. I have no paycheck but I am free. Time is the great equalizer; so, I wasn’t going to waste another second there. Nike knows how to talk, and that’s the end!

Lol, melodramatic much? Nike is what Nike was and will be. Nike hired too many people, there are great people here but so many people that don't do much or just add to the bureaucracy.

they shouldn't. There is so much research that the long term costs of layoffs are more finically destructive due to negative impacts on productivity loss, morale, and retention, it's really a sh-t move for Nike to keep managing this way.

It’s marketing hype and no authenticity. People aren’t that smart as a general population.
