Not sure if its worth sticking around. Clearing im a a terrible employee

Excelling at doing nothing is quite the feat. Perhaps it's best applied elsewhere.
It’s all a game.
They need to reduce costs. They aren’t 100% sure on how they will do this. They liberally spray below targets to all the usual potential targets (highest paid, oldest, those with a pension, those who are “threats” to the FNF, those in departments that have “parallel” departments in India/Mexico.). This gives them cover for upcoming cost reductions.
Meanwhile the FNF crowd is promoted/given exceeds targets.
Anyone who got a below target know this, you are not valued by the company. Immediately adjust your loyalties and future plans accordingly. Do not let the Ford FNF crowd define you. Do not increase your work efforts thinking they will recognize your value.
BTW anyone else notice the recent relaxation of converting unqualified contractors to FTE (non-degreed, poor performing contractors who are bootlickers?). Seems like the preparation for cuts always starts with actions to protect the bootlickers. First we are told contractor cuts will be coming next quarter and then the bottom of the barrel contractors are converted to FTE. Is this happening everywhere or just IT operations/infrastructure?
I also got below after working my a-s off and told by manager how much I improved this year.
The op can't spell or compose a sentence. And gets a below target PR. And the person that points out a correlation is called a spelling Karen??
If everyone involved is a Ford employee no wonder we have a problem.
"I think your spelling and grammar played a part in your rating."
- Spelling Karen enters the chat...
- "good/excellent/stellar employee gets a bad PR, it usually means they were on the chopping block."
Sooo....that's basically everyone....nice. Almost everyone got a tier below where they should be because "HR said so...." - yeah not that this woke me up or anything because I already figured....but it seems like a set up for another purge to me.
I think your spelling and grammar played a part in your rating.
They are telling nearly everyone if their organization got below target, you automatically get below target. They They close with ..... we appreciate you and all that you do and keep going. I was like WTF.
I can't speak to your work ethic or work history, but when a good/excellent/stellar employee gets a bad PR, it usually means they were on the chopping block. I've seen it far too many times in my career. Your days are numbered so get your resume ready and start looking for another job. Good luck! Yes, it's discouraging but don't let Ford tell you who they think you are.
