AI is or future, in and out of Chevron.
We can’t implement an internal website with a decent search feature. Good luck with AI solving WellBore issues and equipment failures in plants. With that said if your just pushing paper or do not have technical skills in the core business that directly makes the company money, I would sharpen up your CV
Didn’t you hear the chairman in the townhall? First question was about layoffs and reorg, and he said artificial intelligence was changing the way we will work because our competitors are changing too
Considering how much of HR and Finance has been outsourced to 3rd world countries already, this is not too far-fetched. Anything MW can do to turn a profit, he will do. Anything that turns employees into mindless drones, he will do.
