Are we insane? Announcing a huge layoff days before the holidays? Our competition couldn’t ask for a better gift in terms of hiring and retaining top talent!!! WTF!!! I’m sure our PR team warned against this but WTF are we doing? All we had to say is that we’d give more detail in the new year. Bowerman would seriously be pi---d at this regime!!!! Why is AC still benched? We need some sort of leadership here!!

AC was a big reason the Kohls crew raided the company for 3 years.

I think what OP is saying is that who would want to go work for a company that does this before the holidays which I agree with
Competitors are not looking to hire crusty Nike people who have coasted for years. The landscape outside of Nike is way more difficult to navigate then the cushy berm life.
Competitors are not looking to hire this many people. But yes, new leadership is needed.
