Thread regarding Phillips 66 layoffs

Dysfunctional

In my job I interact with a number of groups. None of the groups are performing as well as they were pre Transformation.
With that being said, Learning and Development is by far the poorest performing group I’ve encountered to date.

Look, to whichever L&D employee keeps posting these and then also posts all the comments about the employees being good and the leadership being poor -
We all hear you. None of the rest of us in the company know what the point of the L&D group is either. Yes, we also agree that the employees are good people. You are seen. But isn’t that only like, 4 people? If you’re complaining about where management is wasting money, try to start with the things that are complete wastes. You yourself said the employees are good people, so stop trying to get the area shut down. There is so much junk to attack that it makes no sense to attack the other people who are in the same boat as you

Every L and D employee met in Houston a few weeks ago. Nothing came out of it. It was one of the biggest waste of time I’ve ever experienced. It was disastrous!

L and D has good employees, but its top leadership doesn't have a clue about how to accomplish whatever it is they think they're attempting to accomplish.
