Rumor is 2000 people now. 460M in severance. Would equate to 1 out of 6 people at WHQ. Poor leadership, point blank. Nike was screwed the second people starting shopping in store again. Now employees are paying the price.

Everything from a couple hundered to over 10k have been "rumored" today. If you can't peek behind the curtain to see all the variables, don't divine up bs to stress over. This is much bigger than WHQ.
We already know the cost savings focus is on unfu--ing duplicative functions, dropping nice to haves not marching to derp%, and reducing span of control in people management. Nike is wide and tall, that's probably about to change. It sounds like op would go into shock seeing how expensive even some of our lower managers are. Don't expect it to make sense and don't expect it to be the right thing (spoler: it won't be) but it will probably seem marginally less illogical than John and the lost boys' last deathroll a couple years back.
I think this number is huge but I believe it for two reasons , first severance hasn’t been great and second they haven’t said a number yet
I think they are avoiding saying a percentage because it’s going to be big.
