Thread regarding USAA layoffs

Continue to Report Unprofessional Behaviors

Hopefully, the complaints reported on the unprofessional behaviors in the workplace will be taken seriously in 2024. Inappropriate behaviors (i.e. retaliation, profanity, threats, etc.), including those made by EMGs and Directors, should not be exempt from being reported. We cannot sue due to signing the Arbitration Agreement, but we can still report it and submit information to the EEOC to investigate.

There is a USAA booster on reddit who casually discloses he's had to go to Ethics multiple times during his time at USAA. That is not normal! When even the USAA shills are like "Ya, I've reported multiple ethics violations" it's like What! Are you people hearing yourselves... time to touch grass

You can report to EEOC after you have exhausted all internal channels. If EEOC gets a large volume of complaints, they may take action. Even if they don’t, they will issue you a right to sue letter which enables you to sue regardless of what you signed.

The arbitration agreement does not prevent you from filing a complaint with the EEOC for creating a hostile work environment.

We can sue. we can challenge that the form had to be signed under duress. Don’t let corporate leaders treat you horribly. Don’t let them put you down and cause mental duress so that you become a victim. Take the higher road. Push back. This is not about having a job. It’s about demanding respect. If USAA cares about its reputation, it will start to enforce the expected behaviors from managers, directors, and above. I see and experience retaliation. I see and experience bullying. and I’m ashamed of the leaders and organizations that permit this behavior after they become aware of it. If you are laid off/terminated for exposing the truth, there are other avenues to pursue. Document everything. keep personal copies.
