Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Coffee Badging

New study reports almost two thirds of office workers have confessed to coffee badging. I suspect it is much higher at Chevron. Do a walk around your floor this morning and tell us what percent occupied offices you see. I got 17% in HOU15.

If you think working from home is just as or more productive than working from the office, you're part of the problem. GTFO bed, go to the office, collaborate with your peers and other teams, be productive...geezus, go earn a living and don't turn into the lazy fks in Wall-E.

I gotta admit it, Chevron people sure are good at devising ways not to work. In the 'good old days' it was just taking off every Friday. WFH seems to have opened Pandora's box of trickery. First it was those WFHers who took a second job while drawing a full-time Chevron salary, then it was those who figured out how to keep their mouse 'moving' to fool the click-trackers, now it's the coffee badgers.

Coffee badging or not! Are those coffee badgers delivering results while aligning and inspiring, building excellent relationships, and always looking for growth development opportunities. If they are then let them coffee badge as they wish.
If they are not then rank them whatever the old 3 is and throw them in MW layoff mermelada.
It is not about coming to office or working somewhere else. Management is in sour mood because of the wrong decisions and they are steaming that failure of theirs as rage towards average miguel.

If you can get away with this then you probably arent really needed. I cant imagine leaving work for most of the day without multiple people noticing.

Let's end the charade of coming into the office. It doesn't help productivity. It's a distraction and a morale buster.

I guess I'm old school but this is a really bad idea. I'm not by any means moving up the corporate ladder or being considered for any promotions but I know that they are watching. All you have to do is come in 3 or 4 days a week than take that Friday off.

It is holiday season and most people are out and today is Friday so getting 17% sounds really great for the last Friday of the year!

Showing up at the office, badging in, having a coffee, making the rounds, then going home to work for the rest of the day.
