How about people that work from home
Marketing was told by the CMO that layoffs are coming but weren’t told when.
I’m looking online internal for layoff severance it’s been mentioned before by union bank. I don’t see where. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
Received notice on Tuesday 01/16. WCIB IT Management.
Termination Date: 03/08
Reorgs and layoffs happening in my division. They're closing several offices in California (which I think are former UB offices) and consolidating operations in Tempe AZ. A couple people in my department who were based in CA are being laid off, I'm sure there are some in other departments facing layoffs too.
Already happening in 24-hour banking. Jobs being outsourced. Watch out collections and IT, you are no safe yet.
Due to the creation of WCIB or consolidation of Business Lines.
The constant re/orgs after the UB merger and there’s a lot more to come. Stay tune: USB sees the potential growth in the AZ market.
They just laid off a whole bunch from Equipment Finance in Marshall MN and Minneapolis. Also heard they are closing down a ton of offices in CA.
March 2024 sounds right, right before bonus, no information just seeing how other companies are doing things around the country.
There are eliminations happening effective 3/8/2024. Unknown to me how widespread.
The push to outsource technology started in the late 90s. Like everything else, the bank is 25 years late and will still do it wrong.
Whatever is left of IT / TOS / IS will be dissolved in Q2 2024.
Hoards of Indians replacing US jobs on development, scrum teams and product. They already have taken the back office to Bangalore.
Cognizant and the other vendors are already milking their way on outsourcing, and mega 8itch Levang and her minions will get their bonus.
Leave US Bank now.
Corporate Real Estate is still on the chopping block during Q1. Expect to see deep cuts made on personnel.
2024 layoffs are the elephant in the room. I would prefer that they pull the band aid off quickly and be done with it so everyone can get on with their lives. Of course, my preference have no bearing in this matter.
I expect them to make short sighted decisions that will make a bad situation worse than it needs to be.
