I have worked for paychex for years and was layoff due to me being on a leave . I worked in India with over 1500 clients to call on a weekly basis. Clients where upset with payroll specialist but in reality needs to find another company to go to.
I was laid off in 2020 after 20 plus years of service. This is such a terrible company to work for anymore. So cold and mechanical when they tell you also. Also a lot of lying when one notices odd things happening in your department leading up to the dismissal.
Dang!! I have been interviewing for a AZ job for last 3 weeks when they suddenly went radio silent on me. Today I jumped on here and now see why. Appears I just dodged a bullet and should be grateful. Sorry for those laid off in this current market...keep pressing forward and look for the new door to open!
Are outside salespeople being laid off also? I've heard they are cutting comp plans.
Very sad my wife lost her position after 30 years. Payfu-ks is a horrific company ran by id--ts. All my feelings go out to all who got replaced by a dot head.
I want to start by stating that I feel awful for anyone who has lost their job. These are real people and this has a real impact on their lives. This is not the same company or culture that I remember when I started with Paychex several years ago. If you work for Paychex and are still rocking or promoting #paychexproud you are a fool. People are living in fear that their job is next and I believe the layoffs are just the beginning. This was once a great company that promoted itself on investing in people and now they are just another mega-corporation doing anything they can to cut costs, at the expense of employees who dedicate their entire lives to making a difference at the company.
I have been at Paychex for 10 years. The ironic thing is that I was convinced to apply to Paychex by a family member that bragged about how much Paychex cared for their employees and did not let a single person go during the Great Recession. Oh, how the times have changed under Big John.
It's sad that the reason behind this was greed. Not going to pay bonuses but we can pledge for charity? There's employees living out of fu--ing cars for Christ's sake. But the man making 1mil a year doesn't give af.
You will outsource your trained loyal employees to our India team. The service has already suffered yet your company continues to third party more . You’ve let your most talented employees go, and done in the most disrespectful manner. There was no time for anyone to prepare, how incredibly selfish. I am embarrassed to put Paychex on my resume, do better!
The company is restructuring alright! It's outsourcing to India and the Philippines.
Wow, the January 17th post seems like it was written by one of the leaders communicating the changes. Welcome to the Kodak of the new world.
Well, this is crazy but I am not surprised there is so many changes going on and no one knows what’s going on and the stocks doing great but they make you feel like you’re not doing good with your quota and we need to speak up because I’m confused
The company is restructuring to align with its growth and innovation goals, consolidating three teams into one organization to enhance business insights and create synergies. Program management functions will be unified, and the Service Strategy Support, Insights & Analytics team will be realigned to improve data-driven insights and analytics consistency. The changes aim to increase efficiency and effectiveness across the organization and are effective immediately. Team members affected by the transition are welcomed and their contributions are valued.
