As a 20 year employee, I wouldn't encourage any recruit to come to xom nor would I request that new hires stay. The culture is beyond broken. Those screaming to "fix it" are the problem. DW and team will rob this institution clean with their incentive program. Meanwhile all of middle mgmt will be chumps. Why would a young person want to be apart of that? Good luck to the smart ones (if any still remain)!
Actively looking for a new role and waiting for my cube photo once new job is in hand. Forget this dysfunctional place.
Planning on leaving as soon as I hit the 3 year mark.
Top reasons: Ranking system demotivates me, my role is f!@#*n boring, and I fear there is not much future for US engineers.

Leave at a higher rate. I’m done and gone soon as I don’t have to pay back the moving costs.

I’m curious for new hires if you are leaving for higher pay or for lower pay but better culture? Or maybe it is higher pay and better culture!
We have been losing new hirs at the three and five year marks for years now. It has only gotten worse though.
Every single one I have talked to is leaving. Including me. 😀
