I heard the bottom 20% will likely be gone in sales come February. I am not sure of it, but it's what I heard so figured I'd share. Hopefully it's less than that, but then again, it's also a way out of this dinosaur company full of hand wavers. Good luck everyone.

It’s a good call. Get rid of the dead wood sellers who can’t sell. It’s not a charity, afterall.
There is always the bottom 20%. Other company's I worked for cut off the bottom 15% every 6 months. Cleared out room to hire new people and see where they ended up in the 0% to 100%!
They targeted the bottom performers already, in 2023 they targeted the expensive head counts. Who knows what their target will be this year.
@1xlx+1qpNJWOj, you were expensive and probably replaced by a cheap grad.
2030 is fast approaching.
I exceeded quota for the year, was top for trip reports and had a few other unique offerings that my other team mates didn't have. I was still one of the first to go, most have now gone over the prevailing years. So it's not always the bottom 20%
@ych+1qpNJWOj, correct, I've said this for the past year. People still don't get it.
Unfortunately the decision has already been made paperwork has been filed with HR long before it happens.
Decision is from VP, SVP level.
One of my prior co-workers who was previously impacted said he was informed direct manager had no input was told let people go.
When paperwork was received the dates were weeks ahead of when he was actually terminated.
No Warn act filed, mostly senior position male employees impacted.
Sad state this company is in, and it does not appear to be getting better in any way.
Yes exactly. Don’t get rid of the VPs and SVPs who make and continue to make the poor decisions. Get rid of the workers in the US, Europe and Israel. Move those jobs to India instead. Awesome workforce there
Real results don’t matter in Dell.
