It amazes me the company promote and reward people who ki-ls the organization. Those whose past actions resulted in the massive exodus of talent and knowledge. Many of these bosses have no skills of their own other than to take credit for the work of their reports and brown-nosing. The ones I can think of did absolutely nothing other than get in the way of real progress. But they are first jump on promoting whatever is the flavor of the day. Treated people beneath them poorly.
Unfortunately, there is no mechanism to vet out these bad managers. Their mistakes are often swept under the rug and no one listens. They get moved around to do damage elsewhere. What a terrible place to work.
