All big companies are becoming more and more like public bureaucracies - bloated, chock full of unnecessary processes, with crazy workload many times for the sake of workload, incompetent management that just shuffles around without consequences for bad performance, and, most importantly, real experts, hard workers, people with innovative ideas are more often than not a undesirable lot.
