How much snow, wind and travel warnings are needed before greedy company closes early? We have had a total of 18”, blizzard warnings, stay off road warnings but God forbid the club closes early and if you call off and don’t have ppto to use you get a point! Yet club manager doesn’t come in because he lives 20 miles away! Ridiculous!

If we have bad weather where a dozen or more associates call off there are no points for missing. If you are only doing 35% sales why would you even want 100% of associates to show up? It always works out. Managers are expected to show up or use a PTO day. Building closure is very rare and must go through Market Manager for approval. Generally it is based on what level the local sheriff’s dept assign to it…roads closed etc.
Keeping the club open during horrendous weather conditions is CHEAPER for them, because labor is the most expensive part in running the club: they close the club, the have to pay ALL scheduled; they do NOT close the club- there's good chance many won't show up, not get paid, and get punished! Win/win for Sams
So why wasn't the club manager there. He/she needed to set the example!

That’s Sams policy so please stop complaining just to complain
It is at the Club Managers discretion to approve sever weather call off. If it is severe enough and there are a large number of call offs they can approve it.

if you can be there be there if you dont you will get a point unless the police arrest you for being out.....but you will not know if you will be arrested until you are... so no matter how much snow or how cold it is be there.... as simple as that
