Who was brainiac in sales leadership that hired a ton of extra sales folks 4 months ago? Nobody even knows what they are supposed to be doing. Now a big layoff - what a way to run a business.

@wbi Not really less costly. They were not new grads or virtual sales. The directive was to hire seasoned people from competitors - which don't come cheap. They actually passed on all the internal early-in-career GVS people, which makes no sense. Does anyone really know what the goal of all this was?
The unfortunate thing is that they are less costly and will stay while they layoff the more seasoned employees
I don’t get what they’re trying to do, this will bite them in the a$$! That was stupid, and some managers abused that and hired their old gang back!

- A fresh supply of wide eyed employees to validate the needs of leadership
- Merely creating chaos by over hiring to pit employees against each other
