What happens to my RSU vesting if I take no pay leave to go on a sabbatical? Say 6 months to a year? Will the vesting schedule remain the same or will the vesting dates be pushed back by the period that I am away from the company?

If you go on “sabbatical” within 1-3 yrs you will be pip’d. Every XOM boss in all the future ranking meeting will vote you to bottom and HR will support. Bosses do not tolerate stupidly like sabbaticals or pursuing other degrees while employed. Once pipd and terminated, you forfeit all RSUs for the past upto 7 yrs … read the fine print of the Award agreement you sign each time you are awarded RSUs.
You have HR 😂😂😂💤
How do I take a leave of absence? This sounds great
I don’t think it vests. I took a leave of absence once and my 10 year anniversary award notification took just about 6 months longer than I was expecting to arrive. I believe it was due to my leave of absence, but never confirmed.
Ask HR and get it in writing. More than likely the vesting schedule will remain the same because the time off counts as time served (towards your pension for example).
I mean seems pretty straight forward. If ya ain’t workin, ya ain’t vesting either.
