Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Bonus and Layoffs

Bonus discussions can start soon.

Since bonuses are.for 2023 performance, if layoffs happen are you entitled to anything or just SOL?

I figure if you are not entitled to anything then to expect layoffs bug time this week.

Thoughts?

It depends on your pay grade. It’s also a target bonus that’s paid out, so if you were expecting more for 2023 than target, you wouldn’t get that.

If you leave before bonus is paid, you are SOL.

Hmm. If that's the case, it's a great time to get laid off, provided severance is also part of it.

Yes. Company policy is to pay prorated bonus. Not only would you get your bonus for 2023, but prorated for 2024 for what your target bonus is supposed to be.
