Clearly the investment is to centralize global and reduce geo input. Have you not been paying attention to the new structure that is already in place on the mertch side ?

My team's lost like 30% of our headcount since start of the fiscal year. If they slash it any more, it's just going to be 100% dysfunctional.
If it happens, then the pendulum is just swinging to the other side. Again. The flavor of org of the decade.
