Hah hah, I worked there in the golden years. Got laid off in 2009, and the severance was nearly 9 months long. Problem for Cisco was I never should have been laid off, and in the last 14 years, I've helped transition a few billion dollars of business to the top competitor. You don't have the horses to get close to what we can do in software development, as you lost 100% of the peeps who made Cisco what it was.
