Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

TIS call today

TIS has unplanned call scheduled today at 1:30. Maybe we are going to be fed the BS that using Accenture more is going to make us more productive. Correction,Truist, it has resulted in delays in getting EVERYTHING done. AI looks at anything submitted and then it sits for 2-3 business days for approval as completion. This is delaying account transfers into Truist by an additional 3-5 days. Other forms that had a normal 2 business day process now is a week t minimum. This is also when so any knowledgeable people in Ops are being let go or are jumping ship.

Can’t wait to hear the BS spin.

It isn’t operations in a particular state. It is the operations human beings in the general TIS office. So people you could normally call to get help on something or ask a question, you will now speak to someone in India. We were told not to call anyone we know in ops. Just cold blooded. Good and knowledgeable people - human beings - are being let go so we can use AI or someone who will only follow a flowchart in India.

If you have ever had to open a Salesforce ticket to get help, you know exactly what I’m talking about.

We were even told “don’t contact your resource people in Operations right now. Some have been let go, but others may not know yet.” Makes me thankful I’m in management anywhere. I couldn’t be so cold and callous about it.
