2 going off shop floor, 1 stitched up (already gone) and 1 volunteer. Can't believe they let them go.

So is everything back to normal for mixers? I notice quite a few empty seats in the office but I’m not sure if theyre just working from home. And what about the shopfloor? I don’t bother going over there much.

Working from home again. Just in time for summer. This is more like it.

That wee man give me a pay rise. Leave him be.
Promised me a trip to Montrose......O how i cant wait to see the lovely highlands.

Mixers is the future. We can make this work with one person.. We dont need a team.
Pumps is doomed you need an arm to mess up one order or input it 5 times into your Dragon's Nest.

12 weeks in and from 37 redundancies it’s down to around 10. Most people just left because they are tired of waiting. Mixer work being subbed out to save jobs. The wee man who failed up north has failed again but had another role made for him and is already talking about getting subbies in to do our work. Shambolic! See how long it takes for the wheels to fall off the rescue plan.

Why would the sales team want to sell those mixer things when we can sell Mono pumps much easier and work from home when we need to catch up on things ?

So much mixer work in the pipeline. Customers knocking on the door. They’ll be taking on staff soon to meet the demand. Just imagine if we had a sales team who actually go looking for orders. Mixers would be massive.

Are you stupid?
Mixer business is mostly project work and projects don’t happen every week or Month, thats the way it is but the crazy people in Houston, should but don’t understand this simple fact!

Well to add insult to injury, Mixer bookings are up 2x what they were last years 1st quarter. Yet the mass culling is still underway. Touché Houston Touché!

The problem with the business is that there isn’t enough noticeboards. Mixers only has 1 noticeboard for every 6 people. A ratio of 1:2 is considered world class.

We (SIG) are hear to help you troglodytes. Step up or step out.
Two more managers to go and then we can break the cycle of castle hoarders. If they were to move forward in the world it would be easy. However, they just want to live off their spoils. Sad.

Soon it will all be fine. Keep the faith.

If we listened to SIG most managers wouldn't be here, employees would be replaced by automation, and the business would be highly profitable. Unfortunately mono mafia know better. . . . And want to hide whilst constantly moaning. Us mixers are now suffering because they don't change.

SIG have actually made their first concrete recommendation. It’s to make Gravel the Director of Logistics as a reward for being the number one lighthouse keeper.

SIG should just be binned off, they have literally su-ked this site dry, don't know what or why they are still here. Someone please enlighten us on what they are currently doing & working on. The way the general pop sees it, they are draining the business 1mil/year.. that's clearly a big hole & drain that has caused this slump.

Round and round we go, on the Ferris wheel of doom... Seems its just another day in the same business as usual establishment. Top brass say they want change implemented but then don't want to change the core way in which they do things. Mixers has been given another lifeline, but this cat with its 9 lives is on its last one with 90% of its remaining health depleted. Revived but a shell of its former self, we'll see how mixer's skellybob crew will get on but output will be stunted which doesn't look good for the foreseeable. Sadly Shiny and his crew haven't got rid of mixers just yet!

More mixer staff in the office than you’d think. Well there was. Because most of them are leaving in the next week. Some of them are not even waiting for redundancy money because they are all leaving for more money anyway. Can’t blame them.

Has anything been decided? Anything? I can see eng manager has got another job and gone, I hear the inspector is now over in pumps, as are some of the fitters. Is that it then, done and dusted - gone.

Yep silent and deadly. Management don't want to talk about it even though they are doing it.
Shiny said they removed the the head of mixers last week and now easy to moth ball it. He is loving it. Gives him power..........
Manger gone in mixers as with the directors. Only the weeds left now and they are being kept on to get the on going orders finished. Being treated like slaves...They want to shunt it but want to also keep orders going through. They haven't a clue. Heard another Scottish guy will be managing the skeletons. What a surprise.

Mixers have been snuffed out and the "snuffing" is in progress.. Its silent but deadly. As time goes on, the mass exodus will be seen. Top brass know this already so are silent.

So are mixers going from Manchester or not? Why can’t someone make a decision so everyone can move on one way or the other. This organisation is a joke.

Get a life. Claim money for doing nothing isn't a reward in life id--t.
No doubt you have done it all the time whilst working skimming of the people who actually work.

Go play with Shiney's pants

Will all be fine. Shiny tells us it takes the Texan workers 4 months to make a decision. After that 2 month to implement. Then the SLT have to get out of bed also.
Watch this space towards last quarter when they panic about their ICP payouts being lower than expected.
Back to work (well you know what I mean) guys. Long weekend over and back to CV updating. I've got my overtime.
See you Thursday.

SIG start in the Rubber shop next week heard they have given up with the warehouse?

Will it work in the Rubber shop or will it fail and they hang the towel in, rubber is like a ghost town nowadays.

35 being made redundant. They know who they are.
Select few being kept on to take orders etc.
If your in aftersales you have a chance to survive. Others pack up. Engineering will go overseas.
About time.
I see the Derby boy is back. Thought he retired. Just been told he went on his jollies for a relaxing week away. Now back to shut up shop.....Good innings.......................

Yes, a new owner will turn up, won’t take them long to realise what a heap of trouble they have bought.

No we don't know who's being made redundant currently. However as the situation stands those who will remain will face a large task "stabilizing" this unmanned ship heading towards the proverbial iceberg. Key aspect in all this is that, once you unravel one tiny thread the connecting parts will also be affected. Shutting down UK alone doesn't just mean UK alone is down, India and the UAE will be affected. And how will this all affect the almighty pumps now that they will have to deal with 100% capacity of that behemoth of a factory. Perhaps there's an even larger strategy at play where they plan to sell it ALL.!

Touched a nerve not really sunshine, it takes a bit more than a thick Mancoonian to ruffle my feathers, I can only assume your absolutely full of bullshi* talking about things that you clearly have no real knowledge or you experience of tbf you probably got promoted to clean the toilets at best. now pipe down and stop daydreaming about how YOU will close anything aside from the toilet seat after you’ve finished cleaning it.
