The inflated ego of Directors through VP’s that don’t get cut is going to be brutal for teams to work under. They’ll be psyched with raises and new teams but the under paid below them will be exhausted from the stress of waiting and wondering for months.

I’m pretty sure this is going to effect higher levels more than lower levels.
Haha exactly once the dust settles. I've overheard people (managers and directors) cursing and hoping for their 'enemies' to be let go…
Director reporting to a VP here, I'd be stoked to get a raise after all this and the ability to actually staff appropriately. Good luck on either, we're going to be asked to deliver the same load and "step up".
