Is this only for today or is this also for tomorrow? I need to get this over. It is hanging on top of my head!

Doesn’t seem like there will be an additional layoff at the end of this quarter, that is quite a bold assumption. You don’t space layouts within a few weeks of each other, as there is no benefit. You maximize morale damage and process disruption for…:what? There’s a reason guidance was to inform all affected personnel today. This layoff appears to be the only one until Q4, which I’m guessing is early/mid July, and will affect significantly less people.
my manager is on PTO. If mine is coming, it'll be when they return I assume.
Plus, the payouts for LR are spaced out on the earnings report. The larger piece is meant to be at the end of this quarter.
At this point just have an honest conversation with your manager. “Hey lots of LRs hitting people in other BUs today. Can you please me let know if I’m impacted”
