If the Cisco worker base and the tech industry at large were unionized in the first place, not only would we have been able to fight back against this ever happening in the first place, we also could've done what you suggested if that didn't work.

If Cisco were unionized it would be like GM in 2009 but without the bailout.

Don't listen to what the others are saying; Unionizing is hard, but worth it. I hope more people consider quietly organizing before this happens again.

The strikes also exist in the United States, but in the tech industry we prefer to flee our careers by changing bosses every two years.
