This post is for corporate employees. Question: do we find out the total of our annual incentive before the incentive contribution to 401K deadline on 2/27? I want to know am I putting in 10% of $500 or $5000 or $10000? For all hourly employees who will comment about we don't deserve bonuses - some of us work extremely hard for way over 50 hours a week for the same paycheck no matter what. The incentive is what makes it all worth it and it is part of our total compensation.

Time to bend over and take it up the arce like many of us have been doing the last few years. Don't like it? Find something else or call 1-800-whhhaaaaaa
- 1%….. F this company!
MIP FUNDING was announced at 83.1%
WOOF.
But don’t worry talking points were provided on how to spin it as a positive when people are disgruntled.
You will find out with two days to make your plans if past is prologue. Corporate systems are circa 1960 so you will need to input a percentage. If system was upgraded to indicate dollars you could set it and forget it - maybe the genius engineer lurker could pause Netflix for 69 seconds to do something about it but I doubt it.
I'm not sure why there is so much hate surrounding bonus talk. I was a corporate employee and was part of the first round of layoffs. There is a lot of ambiguity surrounding whether those that were laid off will or won't receive a bonus. As a former employee I find updates regarding the incentive helpful so that I can gauge when I need to reach out to colleague relations to gain clarity.
To those that complain about discussions regarding incentive plans... don't click on the post if it isn't relevant to you. It is to some of us-- it is absolutely a component of my layoff experience.
Exactly. This is not a place to brag about promotions or bonuses when it clearly says LAYOFF. Respectfully I thought, this was for layoffs. Information for people who want to know if they will have a job day to day. Month to month!
for engineers multiple incentives, training, offsite vacations, cash increments, mid year promotions, stock bonus, PTO, remote work.
no one will look for jobs, when they get cash bonus, increments , stock bonus, free PTO, benefits what more year after year. and remote work, fun, what more?
Last year the official bonus amount was announced on 2/29.
I didn’t have my year end until some time in march.
The whole “we should know by now” doesn’t hold true to based off last year.
With all that said, I fully prepare for “we have to buckle down” since one of the enterprise goals is “grow our core business” which is C-suite talk for “we need to raise profits stat.
The notion of layoffs right now I feel is misguided, they’ll cut bonuses and say “be glad you weren’t laid off and still have a job” to many will stick around and the top performers will be looking for a new job, I know I already am looking passively.
Normally we have known by now. As a manager we were notified we could have conversations with our teams the week of 2/26. I wouldn’t get your hopes up though from what I have heard.
Please respect that this board is for layoff information not for bonuses or incentives or people who aren't losing their jobs or have gotten the information that they are at risk of losing their job.
