Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

There is life after WF. I’m living proof. I was displaced months ago and as soon as my notice period was up i started working and now my bank account is flush. Plus I’m very happy with my new job.

I’m really trying to looking at all of as a blessing in disguise. We WILL come out on the other side, better for it! In the end, it will be their loss. My new favorite acronym: FWF

Our law makers don’t help at all - left or right! There are no laws limiting or prohibiting them from offshoring. None to keep foreigners from buying our land and driving up prices. The system is broken. Even when a politician says America first, it’s only hyperbole and zero action.

Man, I can relate to this post. It's exactly how I was feeling today.

Personally speaking, the more the bank effs with me, the more I'm going to stick around, try to double-dip and wait for a package. Knowing they want me gone provides the incentive to keep playing chicken with them.

Our Director gave up on us, too. Whatever the reason, we’ve been in a downward spiral for over a year. Now we’ve been shuffled into another team that has no interest or time for the work we’ve been doing. We all know our days are numbered. Why they couldn’t just let us go before moving us around and around is beyond me. Well, we do know why (hope we quit) but it’s emotionally breaking many on the team.

Just think everyday will be Friday. No more Sunday nights to fear or sweat about. You can make your weekends Mon thru Wednesdays and avoid crowds.

OP, you are not alone. I and many others feel the same way.

The job market in many areas is rough. We know WF pays much more than most companies. It's not easy tp just find another job. Companies are laying off workers and offshoring in droves.

Don't listen to those who are misinformed, bitter, and lack compassion.

You are not alone.

It's a painful reality.

nothing has failed us, you just aren't going to have a job.

and with that attitude, maybe never again.

You will rise above this situation. I'm in a sad situation also. Good people are getting the shaft unfairly after many years of hard work and dedication. But we will come out the other side, hopefully.
