Business closing Evansville location, 45 layoffs announced
The state has been notified of a business closure in Evansville.
A WARN notice shows Refresco Beverages will close, which means 45 layoffs.
The documents show the first 36 layoffs will come at the end of March, and the last eight will come at the end of April.
The notice shows the employees will get separation benefits.
Refresco is based in Brainpark, Illinois.
Their website shows they have more than 70 production facilities across North America, Europe, and Australia.
