Some already happened. North America is supposed to be done with layoffs by EOD Tuesday.

" they are reducing the locals and not the remote folks."
The irony is the older you are and near retirement the more hybrid inclined.
Last time I was in office there was no one below 50. These are the higher salary employees.
remotes will remain fixed costs since they are forgoing future raises/promos
So they will have to cut from the hybrid more than remotes if they want to cut costs. They really didn't think this through
I don’t think it will be done by tomorrow. If so when will it be again. I saw a different post saying 20 or 30k in two years.
@xxi+1r9bX4Qy I am in the CSG Org, Client TSR. Only about half of us are actually local. With the massive push from leadership to enforce to hybrid work, the most surprising thing to me today is that that they are reducing the locals and not the remote folks.
is there any new round of layoff soon? seems there is no round every weeks people are getting impacted.
Was just laid off with several others in a group setting. Fully scripted, but all were expecting it.
@osf+1r9bX4Qy - Sorry to hear that, whick org?
It is a cr-ppy way to end a job - but no one is going to take care of you but yourself. I too was hit with the layoff.
I had my meeting today. Employed till end of this week. Still same sev pack as others have mentioned. I'm RR local Inside Sales.
Sorry to hear that.
Done as of today after meeting, paid through end of week 23rd.
Bonus, yes (at 90% of FY24 plus prorated FY25 bonus).

Got my unscheduled 1x1 dropped into my calendar Friday afternoon for this morning (Monday the 19th). Got the news of my layoff. I'm done Friday the 23rd. Severance still being paid out--in my case 8 weeks plus one week per year of service.
