Speaking of Canada only - the house needs to be cleaned and cliques need to be broken up as they perpetuate an ongoing problem. It’s the “we go back 20 years, we grew up together…”. There are good seeds in the clique but there are certainly terrible ones that have been kept around because their bestie is in a position to do so.
It’s nauseating to see each and every time there is an event of some kind. Meritocracy means nothing - only your social status. If you’re non Caucasian? You will get cherry picked as the token and will be used until it’s time to get kicked to the curb.
