Layoff CEC Issues

Just a heads up, many folks off payroll Q1 were not automatically enrolled in CEC. If you were impacted, call to enroll - you have 65 days after date of termination.

On March 1, there were changes to CEC and seems to be some confusion if your CEC starts March 1 whether you get that benefit.

And if you had the legal plan, you have 30 days after coverage ends to continue enrollment. the AT&T legal plan was/is probably the best deal around for $17. Its not just a discount. Covers a lot fully including parents and kids. Saved us $6k last year in wills and covered all family executor costs.

Doesn’t cover employment matters. Pretty much useless
