No idea if this is just hearsay.. but just heard Fuji making a play for Xerox Production stuff. Nuvera? Prolly the only thing left worth anything. iGen is wayyy to old to be a contender,, etc..
They shut down Nuvera line to move to Fuji?

EK, X, B&L: ruptured ducks, once big, never too big to fail
Good riddance
“Kodak had a lot of parents too, look where they are/went.”
Kodak stock has increased 20% in the last 6 months with no dividend.
A lot of silence.
I guess its not happening after all.
That may have come up because it was tried a few years ago but was stopped by then major stockholder Carl Ikahn. He has since sold out his shares.
Kodak had a lot of parents too, look where they are/went
Lots of patents on the Production side of the business..
What is there to buy? Old outdated iGen-based color and b&w Nuvera????
Fuji doesnt need that old stuff, nor does any other company. All they need is a customer list and they dont need to buy the business to know where the existing customers are.
Sell off Production Products division?
Xerox doesn't have any new Production devices in the pipeline.
Most of what they currently offer has been superseded by new versions by parent company Fuji.
Sell production, Increase the Dividend!
selling off the production business would be best way to reduce revenue and profits at Xerox. Production is highly profitable and a significant portion of Xerox revenues. If this happens, sell all Xerox stock ASAP it will accelerate the end of Xerox. You will see sell offs of EMEA operations as Xerox can not fire the people, but they can sell the business and get the salaries off the books - partner led model in some areas. competitors KM 1% profit margin, Ricoh 2%, Xerox back to 10% plus only with production.
I bet on Xerox starting to sell SCREEN printers on the inkjet business... hearsay/readsay
Production Print will be sold in Q2.
IGen is wayyy too old? Yet Nuvera launched in the 2005 time frame. Both are dinosaurs.
I heard it's Pampers. Pretty sure I'm right.
I heard it’s Ricoh making the best offer. Let’s see who is right.
heard this as well
What's it to you? You have non-transferable skills.
Nvda is too smart to waste money on trash
I also have a rumour ... Xerox is being bought by Nvidia.
Hearsay
