In some countries the no promotion policy is being rescinded because it’s illegal. Confirmed for Ireland.

LOL. American workers don't have rights like the Europeans. Corporations get what they want-always.
That’s why the RTO is happening in phases, starting with countries that don’t have laws protecting employees.
Ireland law isn’t as great as it sounds. You can’t ban all promotions for remote workers. And they have a right to request remote. But then the company can deny remote request. Big deal.
They will harass you, mentally break you, emotionally torture you, they will sc--w your work life balance and force you to resign, if they can’t legally put the promotion clause for RTO.
This is insane! They don’t want you if you are not present in the office is the clear

The RTO policy is also blatantly harmful to pregnant people or people with disabilities, so it would be fun to see folks band together and sue. May as well start a lawsuit since there’s no point staying on as an employee.
In America there is the goal to return to the Upton Sinclair days - sc--w workers rights.
Lol ..not if you are unworthy if a promo. All they need to say is you don't meet expectations. Nothing to do with wolocale.rk

funny that the "only country that matters" workers get treated like they dont ;)
Yes, cannot discriminate against remote workers in Ireland, local policy reflects that
I'll illegal in all the EU. For those in the "only country that matters" go read an Atlas to find out where that is...
It’s not illegal in the only country that really matters though.
what about you shot yourself in RR parking lot on shift change.
