Crazy and toxic atmosphere in teams

Manager here. I was doing soft eng a few years ago.
Believe me when I tell you that it’s the same for us plus more. I as a manager know what some employees are going through that their peers do not. I know things like health issues that’s causing them to miss work, spouses that got laid off, and a gazilillion things employees don’t know.
So I am not discounting what you are saying but don’t believe mgrs don’t have the same experience.
nailed it! we just pretend and agree with our managers to survive, no clue if we are growing the business, just show up to meetings , try to get out asap and say as little as possible, hope no one complains, live for another day. Gave up on trying to make a difference as every 5 minutes there is a mandatory training or something to fill out to justify someones job, good thing is like the weather, longer you stick around the more the leaders change and its all reset again, rinse, repeat, vest.
