I had an interview scheduled at a said Sam's Club for a position I was over qualified for. The lead and other person, refused to interview me. But the position before the lead said he had to follow the EEOC guidelines and interview everyone. Plus he said he had to give everyone a fair chance. So, when they refused to interview me to throw all that in the leads face. He said that isn't going to change his mind. I asked him, so you are refusing to follow the EEOC guidelines in this position but wanted follow them for the pervious position? The communication between Sam's Club and a future employee has been awful and very bad experience. You try to call to get answers and nobody answers the phone, it just rings and rings. I told the lead I was going to the EEOC on him. I also told the lead I have to do the interview per unemployment, he still didn't care.

Took 23 years to coach you out huh?
OMG Do NOT work there! You’ll thank me later. 23 years for me and I worked hard every day! They coached me out of a job just because they didn’t like me. They only like their favorites that kiss their a$$.
Over qualified is such a joke. Even Einstein would not be over qualified if he were willing to push a broom , push a cart or sort rotten pumpkins. What most managers are afraid of is hiring someone smarter than them. Which means they wont hire most people.
I had an interview scheduled, I showed up and they refused to interview me. I have the documentation of the interview, which was scheduled.
Run Run AWAY
There isn't any federal law that states you MUST get an interview. Think about it.
Neither Sams club nor eeoc require to interview everyone one who applies, it’s not feasible as some positions have over 100 applicants. They just can’t refuse to interview because your apart of a protected group
I agree. They are giving me the run around. I have followed up several times. They just feed me lies. I was hoping for better.
Forgot this place. You are not going to be happy here if this is how you are starting.
