You failed even on 10nm 5 years ago and now telling people to wait another 5 years for you to win on 1.8 nm later ? Bullsh-t … most people probably die by that time so you can take their money and run
of course there is no whale coming. there never was. it was illogical to think there ever was. the companies that foundry their parts are 100% reliant on their foundries for 100% of their revenue. no large customer (i.e. nvda, aapl, amd) were going to show up at intel with 20000 wspw of their latest and greatest design and have intel make it. intel can't even deliver its own parts on time! it will take a decade for intel foundry to work up the foundry value chain and that's if intel foundry executes perfectly (99% chance that will not happen). anyone that believed a whale was coming in 18A was drinking the faith based pat cool aid, not looking at reality.
