Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

JD may stay

To fully execute the $2b in cost cutting until 2026 with the blood on his hands vs new CEO.

If stock slips to $70s BOD may panic fire him.

This is a really messy situation that today has now been broadcast to the world and gone beyond this forum.

gct+1rFFoHSL - The CEO you may be thinking is not coming. Stop fantasizing. You typically get what you deserve.

JD has launched a new form of social media marketing. unfortunately I don't think it means what he thinks it means.
I'm referring to the fact that #BoycottNike is trending on social media.

Nike can’t wait 6months to see if a shoe will sell through before dropping…don’t think they’ll wait 2 yrs to see if cutting costs will do the trick. The right CEO and we all know who we’re talking about would initiate the right strategy changes, make the right leadership moves immediately and put the swoosh back on a growth trajectory in this next FY.

JD needs to stay to steer this ship until the savings that he promised is delivered. He hasn’t delivered anything else in last 4 years
