Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

DMI?

I think I'm on the hub location list for my current line of business. Just a matter of time. A contact has told me that there may be an upcoming opening in Data Mgmt and Insights that could work. Not sure if it would be mid to high staff or mid level mgr.

Yes I'm looking outside WF too but any thoughts or experiences with DMI? Thank you.

DMI has never been able to manage any data or provide any insights. What a total disappointment because they could have been great advocates for all the analysts in the bank instead of vacillating between grandiose ideas that don’t work and shilling for control policies that are ludicrous.

Ok, you will soon have a bank with the customers in the US and the IT development in India. You say I am wrong. Well, lets do a little analysis ourselves.
Open https://www.wellsfargojobs.com/en/jobs filter on state North Carolina area: Data & Analytics 8 jobs are open in North Carolina (7 are cross-referenced to other states). In Bengaluru, India there are 53 jobs.
The advantage you have is proximity to the customer and management. But the hordes will sap any insights you have and then dismiss you.

India has been touting themselves as experts in data, analysis and risk so I’d be very cautious.

Going to DMI could be dicey at this point. That's an org can could easily have many people laid off and not affect much.
