Hearing rumours end of week total so far is 56% in favour for remote.
Another week to go but this looks like it will be over 50% for remote selection.

Our team is 18 people. Only 1 person could even do hybrid based on where everyone lives. Not a single person in the same area. Not even the manager, or the managers manager could go into the office. The team was remote long before Covid. Everyone chose remote
In the team I am on it is very much split between age groups. Those of us who are over 50 are opting for Remote as we are mostly near the top of our pay range (hence little chance for significant raises) and we don't see any promotion opportunities for older employees.
Those that are below 50 seem to be opting for Hybrid as they think they have promotion potential (silly people).
I would be interested to see what the age group break out is. Though I doubt Dell will ever disclose that. At the next All Hands Jeff C. Will come out and say that the vast majority opted for RTO and that the company is doing what employees are asking for (and other BS).
Just my observations on how a larger team in ISG seems to be trending.
"What's the deal with Dell's remote work option, huh? You've got this tantalizing promise of freedom, the ability to work from anywhere in the world, maybe even from your favorite beach! But then reality hits harder than a dropped laptop – it's like they've got this invisible leash attached to your Wi-Fi router. 'Sure, work from home,' they say. But the moment you step away from your desk, it's like they've got a sixth sense. 'I sense a disturbance in the productivity force!' And don't even think about trying to take a midday nap – they'll know! It's like they've got spies disguised as Zoom meetings. 'I saw that yawn, Johnson!' Remote work at Dell? It's more like remote controlled work!"
Our team (11 of 12) are going remote. We span four US timezones and countries across five continents, literally none of us live in the same metro area...so it makes sense. It all depends on the makeup of your team, if a large number live near the same office, then yeah, go hybrid. In our case there's not much point. My manager has approved all remote requests due to this.
Yes that is what I am hearing too. So much so they have asked managers to stop accepting the remote requests for now.
I’ve heard 50/50
Doubt this is true. I have asked people from a wide range of teams and they are all going hybrid
