Off payroll 4/5. I’m safe but I’m shocked at some of the losses, including a SAL that one a really large deal last year. No rhyme or reason to the Layoffs outside of the fact they are older, white, and men.

GES is Global Enterprise Solutions which has both wireline and mobility under it and consists of teams that manage enterprise clients in the U.S. as well as globally.
I mean tbh the company has a ton of older white men so who else are they gonna lay off, smarty pants?
GES stands for what?
Mobility or Wireline side?
I’m sure they’re all top performers if you ask.
I'm craft and an un-needed worker, but for some reason they won't lay me off! I wish I could be laid off, but I don't see it happening anytime soon, unfortunately!
"They should had figured out who is actually doing all the work and layoff the people that don’t know how to do much of anything. Speaking from experience as I was surplused today.,"

There were women laid off today as well...
Getting rid of unneeded workers. Too many workers at AT&T, not enough work. Sitting around a lot doing nothing.
Maybe it has to do with location?
