For all the chatter around layoffs coming, I'm yet to see anything materialize to date?

You're at the wrong site if you want to know about layoffs and related info. That's what it is for all the other company's listed here but for Chevron this is the company social media forum. It's for all of the entitled bottom feeders to complain about everything under the sun, in spite of them collecting a fat paycheck and great benefits.
I love all the replies from the folks that have no idea what is happening and therefore assume that nothing is happening. For the DT&S etc layoff folks will be gone after May 31.
@ 3ycz+1rJQUKKE which function? This has been going on in some of the “support” groups for a while. Didn’t expect it to ramp up in other functions. My pdc is way overbooked. Too many people looking for fewer openings.
My department is impacted in a weird way. Slow transition because of “projects” but half of us are already assigned to this Fall PDC while the other half for Spring 2025. If any of us are left standing then we’re going to get cut.
If you haven’t heard about the layoffs occurring in pockets you don’t have a pulse on the business. Be worried for yourself lol

Redeployment 4/19. Last day of employment 5/31. This all happened a month ago around 2/22.
Ask the leading performance team. They’ll let you know who’s next.

I have not heard of a single layoff in the past 6 months......all the people i know in the company are still employed.
Yes it's going on but they are on small scales. The transformation was a disaster so they want small quiet layoffs going forward.
