Manager trying to get me to quit

On a cap—manager noticed scores are still not what they need to be. Manager asked what I wanted and to tell them by the end of the week.

Sounds like they’re tricking me into voluntary quitting?

Anyone have experience with this?

Incompetent managers who abuse CAPS plus they have no idea how to give them out .I've heard one even was excited she gave 2 or 3 in One day. These people need fired and they have been reported and escalated to be fired. What a dum- sorry excuse for a person let alone manager. Karma will get her.

It's a management strategy. Keep everyone slightly insecure. Keep the stress on. Setting people up for reduced merit bonuses and raises come 4th quarter.

Do not quit. Make them fire you do you get severance and are eligible for unemployment. All they can disclose if a prospective employer contacts them is you are or are not eligible for rehire. Head that off by disclosing your job skills were not matched up correctly going into United. You have nothing if you walk. Not your fault they don't like your work as they failed to properly assess your skill set.

Sounds like your manager is trying to give you control over what happens next. You can take the time to look for another position. If you want to stay, you are at risk of being fired and I’m sure your manager is trying to help you avoid that in your work history.
