Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Don’t look now

But the great leadership of Bill, Beau and your BOD is working. I forgot about Mike. Stock is 39$ plus. This is what happens when leadership decides to lead and not let you Teammates have your way. This isn’t Burger King you don’t get to have it your way.

One can only wonder where this new bank would be today if Kelly had not given away leadership to Bill and his gang of merry thieves. While King was a buffoon he acted as a mayor of a small city. A figurehead with smart people (mostly) running the lines of business. Even the LDP’ers had smart competent people underneath them who knew how to keep them from doing d-mb things. We’ll never know as King sold out for his legacy which hasn’t turned out so well.

All those PR campaigns on LinkedIn really have the shareholders fooled.

Altruism at its finest. With the fantastic broad stock market performance over the last couple of years, Bill and Co. are providing their shareholders some losses to offset all those gains by every other holding. What a great group of guys!

Don't worry. Bill and the Didn't Earn It crowd will revert back to their normal incompetence.

You forgot the major contribution Joe is making as the governance and control officer. I cannot imagine the rest of leadership being successful without his guidance.

You Teammates are not giving enough credit to the 23 person operating council for the positive direction of our bank, led of course by Bill. Remember at merger we had a 41 person council that was Chaired by Jenna Kelly to set the course of the new bank. The outstanding job she and the other 40 members did set the course for the entity we are so blessed to work for today. I don’t know why she doesn’t have a bigger role in today’s organization. She should be a key member of C suite instead of her current role. People like these operating council members present and past have made Truist what is today.

@OP+1rLwvgaR Still sooooo many miles behind the rest of the industry and our peers like PNC. Our div yield is a whopping 2% higher than PNC -- but yeah, we're doing great and Wall Street loves us LOL. Oh and from 6th largest to now 8th since merger. Keep drinking that Kool-Aid let's keep pumping that stock with cuts while the bank bleeds to death. Makes sense.
