I’m optimistic everywhere else in my life and not at all with Crown. Look at the roller coaster the last year has been. Buckled up for bad news
My guess is they are getting rid of fiber and have to adjust the outlook and earnings for the year. At least we don’t have to wait much longer. Sound be fun next couple of weeks!
I bet they reforecast the amount of small cells they said they would build this year. I believe they originally said something about 15K +. There is not a chance in he-l they come anywhere near that. Could even put an end to fiber. Something like we will finish the contracts we have now but moving forward it is not part of our business model.

Anytime there are changes to a routine nothing good comes from it. If I recall correctly, they pushed the call back a couple of weeks in October only to announce that everyone is being forced to move to Houston . Now they are moving it up a day to try to do damage control before the stock takes another hit. The poor leadership didn’t leave when Jay left, he was definitely a big player, but it’s still oozing with unqualified people who would struggle to run a lemonade stand.
Whatever it is, they obviously think there needs to be crisis management after hours to prevent the stock from crashing by the time the market opens. Very concerning.

Yeah, it has to be. I would think it’s somewhere along the lines of the numbers are worse than predicted and they are trying to get ahead of the mess by announcing their plan of action. Perhaps they announce the selling of fiber or a reduction in staff.

Usually the call is always on a Thursday mid morning following the Wednesday SEC filling after the market closes…………..
Does 5pm seem odd? I don’t recall it ever being this late.
You forgot to add something to the old guard move. That whatever is to be rolled out will be vague and not thought through and no one will have answers. April 15th here we come!

If it follows the old guards approach the order will be an email telling us what's happening, then immediately the SEC filling, then the earnings call the next day, then a company conversation a day or two after to field questions about their decisions.
Not a company conversation, but the conference call for earnings will be one hour after they release results.
How about the employee survey?
