They have let go or took all part timers of the schedule in my area doubling the workload onto reps and merchs and forcing the full timers to work Saturdays now is this happening anywhere else?

At the end of 2023 about 5 part timers on the team I work on quit. We only got 2 hired to replace them. It’s not that we’re not hiring it’s that nobody wants to work for us. If I had to guess why it’s the earned reputation of this company. I would never recommend this job to anyone.
One thing I am noticing is part timers being used a lot less. I think the reason is that we’re not ordering as much volume and are skipping certain orders that aren’t needed. Also weeks where no FTs or sales reps are on vacation effect part timers being able to get hours. The team I work on didn’t come close to meeting our Q1 numbers. Also 48% of credits written during Q1 were out of code items most of which came from improper rotation. A lot of improper rotation came from slower moving items being over ordered and ordered because you are able to get a full case are struggling to be able to get 3 orders for certain 3 times a week(Mon/Weds/Fri) stores and certain 2 times a week(Mon/Thurs, Tues/Thurs or Tues/Fri stores).
If you are barely able to get 3 deliveries just send 2 and if you’re barely able to get 2 deliveries just send 1. All this overordering has lead to these problems and now we’re not sending as many orders. Of course a 2 times a week store if we can send 2 orders at least 100 cases each we’re sending them same with 3 times a week stores that we can send at least 100 cases each it’s just the ones where we struggle to just get 3 or 2 deliveries in we’re cutting back on. This is why I feel on my team we’re not using part timers as much. But you see what happens when things aren’t done correctly. Anyone else ran into problems with overordering or excessive outdates? Especially since mission 1 started?
They have always offered severance packages in the past. Even Kelloggs gave all their people packages when they left DSD. I highly doubt that they would put all sales reps, etc out of a job and not give them the package.
Bro this company is sinking faster than the titanic if you don't think we are leaving dsd soon you're a complete id--t
They've been saying that for years that it's ending soon on this fake news site
End is near. Thank god
What region are you in?
Yes it’s the end
People that are hanging around for a severance are in for a rude awakening! If they do phases they aren’t required to offer a thing! Just know GS doesn’t give a rats a@& about you! Never has and never will! He only cares about himself and how the company views him. He’s ruined a lot of peoples lives, move on!
Not backfilling a position is usually a telltale sign that lots more layoffs are to come..
They aren't even replacing full timers in my area that quit. Just dumping the work on the reps and other ftows
I barely have any part-time people left as it is, and they have never replaced the ones that quit last year. I have 4 remaining in my 30 plus store territory, and they seem to be phasing them out and giving the stores to ftows. Trying to get them to quit probably. I also just heard I’m losing some small chain stores to warehouse…. Could it be the beginning of the end?
