For anyone based out of Beaverton who was impacted during the first round, what equipment did you need to return? I’ve already packed up my desk at WHQ, so now I want to do the reverse at home. I want to bring it in before being laid off so I can have a clean break and focus my time/energy on the future. Thank you!

Technically, if they let you keep any equipment that is less than 3 years old, they are supposed to collect tax on it as a benefit. Fortunately, this is not something that frequently gets audited as it's not worth the effort unless you work for a high profile company or firm. If you JUST got a new phone, they will probably ask for it it back, but if it's a over a year old, they likely will just remote wipe it and move on. Obviously, any physical copies of Nike assets would need to be returned, but not many employees have a need to have those in the first place.
You will receive a list with the assets that you need to return. For most is just the laptop. Phone is ok to keep, just need to transfer plan. No monitor, docking station or similar, borrowed from campus during Covid, was included in the asset list. Obviously, nothing that was bought with the covid allowance was included either.
No you don’t have to return the used pandemic chair bought with the allowance, only the laptop and phone.
Do NOT listen to @1fmc’s advice. They can and will revoke/withhold your severance if you do not return the equipment/devices they request. They aren’t joking.
The laptop was the only requirement. I brought back the monitor and other random office sh-t because fu-k them, that’s why.
Just dump everything in the trash when you get laid off. I mean they're not gonna send the men in black after you for your stuff. Ain't no money got time or money for that.
Return the laptop. Keep everything else.
