Any other merchandisers out there that get pulled all the time to bail out club pick up or fresh, but if we need help we get nothing from any area.. we just get more stuff added to us .

Merchandisers and Produce Associates are ALWAYS having to bail out other areas, and it's unfair.
Learn to work slower or do detail work so that you are unable to support other areas that they stock with losers (ones who don't show up and generally don't have the mental acuity to perform their jobs), like Cart Associates and Cafe Associates.
like TT said, nobody wants to work in freezer. turnover at our club is through the roof for cafe & freezer/cooler. freezer gets so much freight that it's impossible to work efficiently & safely. people aren't going to stay in that environment for a paltry $15.
the id--ts that run this company should be forced to work in the situations they've created.
if they did, maybe they'd change things for the better.
This company is getting worse every day, yes at our store merchandiser get pull for club pick up while all club pick up associates are talking they get behind on their job someone else has to do it they are getting big fat money for nothing and the ones been with the company for 20 years 15$ per hour. So this is the deal with the company if you don’t like it find yourself another job I promise you it’ll be much better than this!
At my club they always get pulled to do club pickup and stock freezers as well. The club pickup thing is because they always get behind because they are overpaid lazy a$$es, the freezers because it is underpaid and nobody wants to work in there!
I’ve been pulled from merchandising since night shift ended and never been back My manager was nice enough to stick me in a higher paying position without giving me the raise for it. Only reason I stay is for the vacation time (maxed at 20 years) and I don’t really like working on the floor.
Not only do we get pulled to help club pickup and fresh. We also get calls to push carts, load members orders on top of culling produce. Our a.m. team of 4 people are also responsible for stocking all of grocery, center, hba, seasonal, electronics and half of the hardlines side while p.m. gets the other half of hardlines and water and paper. It's ridiculous.
it's the opposite in our club. fresh gets pulled to drop items that merch didn't. merchandisers are either sleeping in the break room or in their cars smoking weed.
