With the burnout of taking on more work without backfills, location strategy which would require employees to move their whole family to a random state, and RTO for people who have been working from home for years (only to return to locations with no other team members), how many people on your current team do you believe are looking?
Sure there have to be some people waiting for that big severance check, but there have to be a fair chunk of people actively looking, right? This could really burn teams if a significant chunk of people don't relocate and just leave on their own for other reasons that stemmed from all these changes and it seems like it is causing a lot of stress.
